Before the sale of the first property (Relinquished Property), sign the documentation prepared by your
Liberty 1031 Exchange Coordinator. At closing, proceeds are delivered to
Liberty 1031 as your Qualified Intermediary.
Within 45 days of the closing of the Relinquished Property, identify new property (Replacement Property) for the 1031 Exchange.
Complete the acquisition of the Replacement Property within 180 days of the closing of the Relinquished Property.
